Teaser Tuesdays: Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods

Teaser Tuesdays

It’s time for another “Teaser Tuesday!”

This feature (or meme)  is one I discovered on my friend Kim’s site Book Munchies, and is hosted by MizB of the Should Be Reading blog. For those of you who would like to play along at home (or more specifically on your homepage), here is how Teaser Tuesdays work.

– Grab (one of) your current read(s) and open it to a random page
– Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
– BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
– Remember to include the title & author, too, so that your followers and any Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their reading lists if your tease has captured their attention!

In addition to being king of the cosmos, Kronos became the Titan of time. He couldn’t pop around the time stream like Doctor Who or anything, but he could occasionally make time slow down or speed up. Whenever you’re in an incredibly boring lecture that seems to take forever, blame Kronos. Or when your weekend is way too short, that’s Kronos’s fault, too.

Percy Jackson mentioned Doctor Who!! Ahh!

  1. That darn Kronos. My weekends are always too short! I could use the days being a little longer too, maybe then I could get more done! Good teaser! Here’s my TT. Happy reading!

  2. Love the Doctor Who reference. I bet Kronos wishes he could be more like him. Although controlling the rate at which time seems to pass is no small deal. Thanks for sharing it and for coming by Through Raspberry Colored Glasses.
