Teaser Tuesdays: The Queen of the Tearling

Teaser Tuesdays

It’s time for another “Teaser Tuesday!”

This feature (or meme)  is one I discovered on my friend Kim’s site Book Munchies, and is hosted by MizB of the Should Be Reading blog. For those of you who would like to play along at home (or more specifically on your homepage), here is how Teaser Tuesdays work.

– Grab (one of) your current read(s) and open it to a random page
– Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
– BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
– Remember to include the title & author, too, so that your followers and any Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their reading lists if your tease has captured their attention!

—> Now on to the main event!

“This is a dangerous time, Kelsea.” Carlin spoke to the window, her voice distant. Beware of the Regent, uncle or no; he’s wanted that throne for himself since he was in the womb. But your mother’s Guard are good men, and they’ll surely look after you.”

  1. I love the cover, and the teaser is really good too! My interest is piqued!

I hope you manage to find time to start the Jacky Faber series. I’ve only read two books so far, but they’re both really enjoyable!

Thanks for having stopped by my blog!

    1. I finished it pretty quickly, and while one or two things kind of caught me off guard during the reading, on the whole I thought it was pretty amazing! I’m really interested and excited to see where it goes! Thanks for stopping by!
