It’s time for another “Teaser Tuesday!”
This feature (or meme) is one I discovered on my friend Kim’s site Book Munchies, and is hosted by MizB of the Should Be Reading blog. For those of you who would like to play along at home (or more specifically on your homepage), here is how Teaser Tuesdays work.
– Grab (one of) your current read(s) and open it to a random page
– Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
– BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
– Remember to include the title & author, too, so that your followers and any Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their reading lists if your tease has captured their attention!

She reached the ground and moved away from the horses. Never once did the wolf’s gaze leave her. As she drew closer, she realized that it’s head was nearly as high as her breast. A huge beast indeed. But somehow, no thought of fear came to her. As if mesmerized, she leaned forward and extended her hand palm upward.
Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay
Hardcover, 400 pages
Publisher: Delacorte Press
Release Date: December 9th, 2014
ISBN# 9780385743228
Page: 111 of the eARC
Ror’s laughter makes his eyes light up and his cheeks dimple, transforming his face into something a little too lovely. For the first time since seeing him in the ring, I appreciate what a clever thing he did, using his appearance against people who assumed that a soft boy with a pretty face would be unable to hold his own.
Both of these are compelling and make me want to read them. I hear good things about these authors too.
