A Book Blog Name Tag!

Okay, so while reading through my feed of posts from blogs I follow, one from Caught Read Handed captured my attention. It was a post created by Always Opinionated Girl. I liked it so much, I decided to take it on myself, and I hope other people will keep it going. How’s it work? Pretty easy really: “Basically you have to think of a book character for each letter in the name of your blog and then post the final acronym.” I had a blast trying to think of characters for my blog name (although, those I characters almost killed me at one point!)

T – Talo-Toecan, aka Useless —   — (from the Truth series by Dawn Cook)
H – Harry Potter —   — (from the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling)
E – Errand/Eriond —   — (from the Belgariad and Mallorean series by David Eddings)

R – Reepicheep —   — (from the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis)
O – Oberon —   — (from the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne)
A – Annabeth Chase —   — (from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan)
M – Morag, the Gatherer of Souls —   — (from the Tir Alainn trilogy by Anne Bishop)
I – Isabeau —   — (from the Witches of Eileanan series by Kate Forsyth)
N – Nightshade —   — (from the Chronicles of Elantra by Michelle Sagara)
G – Gandalf the Grey/White —   — (from the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings by J. R.R. Tolkien)

L – Lucivar Yaslana —   — (from the Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop)
I – Irys of the Jewelrose Clan —   — (from the Study series by Maria V. Snyder)
B – Boy Blue —   — (from the Fables series by Bill Willingham)
R – Rain Tairen Soul —   — (from the Tairen Soul series by C.L. Wilson)
A – Aelin Ashryver Galathynius —   — (from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas)
R – Raisa ana‘Marianna —   — (from the Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima)
I – Islanzadí, Queen of the Elves —   — (from the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini)
A – Alton Y’Der —   — (from the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain)
N – Neryn —   — (from the Shadowfell series by Juliet Marillier)

So putting my list together I sort of went themed (a bit). All the books I picked are from my favorite fantasy books (it’s my favorite genre). I also tried to only use each series once. Than, to make my life even harder, I made sure that each character has a pretty well-known or major role in that book or series. So it took even longer than it probably should have, but I had so much fun going through some of my favorite books looking for names!

I’m not going to tag anyone specifically in this, but I hope some of you other bloggers out there will jump on board! Be sure to tag/link back to Always Opinionated Girl’s blog, and feel free to tag me too, I’d love to see what names you come up with!!
